Reservations/Bookings

Reservations can be made at any time. Changes to reservations can be made at any time but are subject to date availability. Reservations can be made by calling our toll free number or our local number. Both listed on our contact page. Or book by e-mail.

RV Rentals Alberta and its parent company Rent eh Tent Canada Ltd reserves the right to refuse rental services to anyone.

Reservation Deposits

A $250.00 deposit is require for booking an RV per each weeks rental. This amount is non-refundable. This amount can be put towards final rental charges. On receipt of reservation and deposit, a confirmation notice will be sent to client. Reservation deposits can be made by VISA, MasterCard or cash.

Deposits

RV rentals will require a security deposit by credit card and a security deposit contract to be signed. In the event a credit card is now valid or available a cash deposit of $1500.00 will be required. The entire deposit or part of it will be refunded when an inspection of all camping equipment rented has been carried out by a Rent eh Tent Canada Ltd supervisor when rental equipment is returned. Refer to "Damage/Dirty/Lost Policy" for full deposit refund explanations. Deposits can be made with VISA, MasterCard or cash.

Payment

A $100.00 cleaning deposit will be added to the final costs. Refunded after a inspection has been carried out upon the return of the trailer.
All rental charges must be paid for in full, 30 days before the scheduled equipment pick-up time. Payment in full will be required at the time of booking on all rentals made with less than 30 days notice. All payments can be made to Rent eh Tent by calling our toll free line (North America only) 1-877-478-TENT (8368) or regular telephone number (780) 462-8364. Payment can be made with Visa, MasterCard, or cash. All prices are subject to Goods and Service Tax.

Cancellations

Full refunds are given for cancellations that are 30 days before a scheduled reservation. The reservation deposit is forfeited. Failure to cancel the booked RV rental 30 days prior to the scheduled reservation date will result in complete forfeiting of all pre-paid rental charges.

Rental Pick Up

Pick-up of RV and camping supplies is to take place at 3:00pm the day of booking or there after. Picture Identification will be required, valid driver license or passport. RV and camping equipment must be returned no later than 10:00 am the last day of the rental agreement. Refer to "Late Return Policy" for more information.

Late Returns

Rental equipment returned past the return time out lined for each rental agreement will be charged a minimum of $75.00 per hour past the return time indicated.

Damage/Dirty/Lost Policy

If any item of the rental equipment is returned in a state of disarray, damaged or dirty condition, the renter will be responsible for cleaning and repair costs. Shop rate will be charged ($125.00/hour, $45.00 minimum), plus any parts and materials for cleaning or repair. All costs will be deducted from the security deposit and the remainder of the security deposit refunded. Replacement cost for lost, stolen or destroyed rental equipment is the full suggested retail value and $45.00 administration charge.

Trailer Damage

"Reimbursement" is offered for "out of pocket repair expense" to a maximum of $100.00 on trailer repairs. The reimbursement is only offered to cover repair costs to a trailer as a result of general wear and tear that may occur from time to time and not as a result of damage deemed the responsibility of the renter during the rental period as outlined in the rental agreement and Rent eh Tent Canada's policies. Repair defined as the total usability of the trailer and or safety to the renter and or the general public is at issue. Receipts must be provided for reimbursement. Any repair costs above $100.00 must be pre authorized by Mike Jorgensen of Rent eh Tent Canada and repairs carried out by a RVDA certified RV repair facility or equivalent.

Insurance

Rent eh Tent Canada recommends that each client have his or her own insurance for personal and public liability during the use of Rent eh Tent equipment.

Trailer Insurance

A $1500.00 deductible is in effect on any Insurance claims. Insurance claims are for accidents only. The accident must be reported to the local police and a police report filed in order for a claim to be processed. The renter is responsible for any wilful damage and/or neglect.
